To skip the crowds, visit displays between Sunday and Thursday evenings. Fridays and Saturdays are usually more crowded at displays.

The Nampa Christmas Lights Route begins at a home display near Robinson and Victory, and you’ll head west then south over the railroad tracks to visit more home displays. The Syringa Lane house features free live visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus nightly from 6:30-9PM starting Dec 12-20, so be sure to get out of the car for a fun photo op! You’ll proceed to another decorated home, then a light show synced to music. You’ll drive west for a bit and then see three homes in close proximity, and end with a light show synced to music near Middleton and Lake Lowell Ave. This route is roughly between Kings and Middleton Roads, and Victory and Greenhurst Roads.

Also, if you have a bit of extra time, consider checking out Shindig Farms Lost in Christmas off ID-45 and Scism Road. This is a commercial paid admission event only open select days, but it’s worth going at least once if you’re in the area.
