Scentsy Commons Christmas Lights Ceremony

You’re invited to join us at Scentsy Commons for a dazzling light display. Our seventh annual Christmas Lights Ceremony is from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10. We’ll officially turn on the lights with a countdown beginning at 6:15 p.m. The countdown will also be streamed live.
Our campus has been wrapped in over 900,000 beautiful lights, including Scentsy’s signature light tunnel. And our 75-foot-tall, light-up Christmas tree!
To add to the fun, food trucks will be on-site from 5:30-8 p.m.
This entire event will take place outside on the Scentsy campus, so dress warm! The Scentsy building is closed, but porta potties will be available.
Rules for visiting our campus include no smoking, no alcohol, no pets, no weapons and no littering.
The lights will continue to be on every night from sunset to sunrise; from Nov. 10, 2023, through Jan. 15, 2024.
Gather your family and friends and join us for a bright night out to kick off the holiday season.

Enjoy a live performance by The Orale Band, fire dancing, holiday crafts, holiday friends including our Santa Penguin, Winter Queen, Frosty, Christmas Bear, Santa’s elves, and of course the star of the show, Santa! We will be giving out special wands to help light the tree, and copies of our 10 Year Anniversary celebrations book, New Wings while supplies last!

Downtown Boise Holiday Tree Lighting

Celebrate the holidays in Downtown Boise with free, family friendly events! The season kicks off with a spectacular holiday tree lighting event the evening of Friday, November 24 in The Grove Plaza. Adorned with more than 5,000 lights and a custom-made tree topper, the 35-foot tree is Boise Cascade’s gift to our downtown. Throughout Downtown Boise is decorated with brightly lit wreaths, almost 350 streetlights wrapped with lights, and 12 intersections glittering with snowflake swags made possible by Downtown Boise Association.
The holiday tree is designated as the City’s ‘Giving Tree’ surrounded with over 4,000 gift tags supporting the families of Women’s and Children’s Alliance.

Meridian Winter Lights Parade

We are thrilled to see the return of the Christmas in Meridian Winter Lights Parade! The parade will float through old town Meridian to usher in the start of the holiday season. Santa will join us and bring his magic to light the city Christmas Tree that will shine throughout this festive season in Generations Plaza. Save the date: Friday, December 1, 2023.
Come early to watch "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas' projected next to the mainstage at Idaho & Main streets. Grab dinner or a hot cocoa in the food court. Don't forget to download the downtown decorating contest map and vote for your favorite business.
The Meridian Chamber Downtown Committee is hosting Shop Meridian Downtown Night and the Downtown Decorating Contest. And.....the Meridian Arts Commission is presenting the Ornament Drop! There are so many festive events and activities being planned.

Ontario Winter Wonderland Parade

Each winter, Ontario kicks off the holiday season with the Winter Wonderland Parade. The parade travels down SW 4th Avenue and ends in Downtown Ontario. Marching bands, floats, and Santa are all part of this holiday tradition.

Celebrate Christmas with small-town charm and fun family festivities at Eagle Country Christmas on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 1-6 pm in downtown Eagle by Heritage Park.
At last year's Eagle Country Christmas, kids enjoyed free crafts and activities in our heated tents. Other offerings included photo ops downtown and with Santa and his sleigh, horse-drawn carriage rides through historic downtown Eagle, live musical performances from local children’s choirs, live bands at Heritage Park Gazebo Stage, and holiday market shopping for gifts and food. The Eagle Fire District's vintage 1927 fire truck also made an appearance! For those interested, we stuffed the truck with needed coats, new socks, and new underwear donations for the Boise Rescue Mission (see below). And the grand finale- the Tree Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by Treasure Valley Lighting! Witness as the living Christmas Tree in Heritage Park comes to life with hundreds of sparkling lights at 5:30 pm.
Tuba Christmas, 6PM

Boise’s TubaChristmas has been an ongoing community gathering of tuba and euphonium musicians since 1992. Members of this unique ensemble include student musicians from local high schools, middle schools, and colleges/universities, as well as adult musicians from a variety of professions. It is truly a Boise tradition!
In 2023 we celebrate the 50TH ANNIVERSARY of TUBA CHRISTMAS!
Tuba and euphonium players of all ages are invited to join us on Saturday, December 2, 2023 for Boise’s TubaChristmas. If you would like to participate, simply show up at 1:00pm for registration, and we will begin our rehearsal at 1:30pm. See the Schedule, Costs, and What to Bring sections below for more information. This year, Boise’s TubaChristmas will be directed by Boise State faculty member Dr. Sarah Paradis (Professor of Trombone and Euphonium) with guest conductor TBD.
If you simply wish to attend the performance as an audience member, please join us at 4:00PM at the Capitol building in downtown Boise. This event is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to attend!

We are excited to announce the 20th Annual Treasure Valley Night Light Parade will be happening in Downtown Caldwell on Saturday, December 2nd with a kick-off time of 6:00pm. Our theme this year is Ugly Christmas Sweater. The parade route starts at Linden/Cleveland and ends at Kimball/Cleveland.
